Everyone is always curious how the two partners share the name Coleman. Our clients and candidates always ask "Are you sisters?" which invariably leads to the famous Pizza Story.

After a career as a banker and then as a recruiter at another firm, Carol decided to branch out on her own and founded Coleman & Company in 1999. Suzanne Coleman (no relation), another financial recruiter based in Larchmont, happened to meet Carol at the local pizza parlor one fateful Friday night when their “Coleman” pizza orders were mixed up—hold the anchovies! Like good recruiters, they started a conversation and the rest is history. Suzanne joined Carol as a full partner in 2003. Over the last eight years, Coleman & Company has grown to include a team of seven experienced recruiters with financial industry search experience as well as a separate division called C-Suite Executive Assistants, dedicated to the placement of senior level executive assistants. 

Our success is based on a recruiting process focused on well honed networking skills and a creative and intuitive approach evolved over many years of recruiting on Wall Street. Our process is supported by a strong research capability and an extensive proprietary database.
