Carol Coleman's recruitment expertise is based on a twenty-year global career in commercial and investment banking. Leveraging off of her 15 years in financial services expertise, Carol focuses on middle to senior level searches in investment banking, private equity, private placement and asset management, including alternative investments.
Carol's most recent banking position was with Citibank in London as Vice President of Global Distribution for Euro-Commercial Paper, where she managed the international team charged with marketing the product throughout the world. She previously directed sales of fixed income securities as Vice President for Citibank’s North American Corporate Sales in New York. There she was instrumental in pioneering the marketing of new hedging products such as interest rate derivatives and over the counter options.
Prior to Citibank, Carol served as a lending officer for Latin American at American Express International Bank, traveling frequently to Latin America. During those years and in previous years at a regional bank, she specialized in corporate lending, trade and commodity finance and country debt restructuring.
Carol received a B.A. in Psychology from Tulane University and a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). She has served on the Board of Directors for two insurance subsidiaries of ING, the major Dutch global financial services company.
